SVG and SKN Programme Coordinator

With over 10 years’ experience in food and nutrition, Latoya Matthew Duncan, MSc. PHN, RN, is a national nutritionist, healthy cooking expert, and captivating communicator inspiring people to eat and live well.

Latoya has conducted numerous media interviews, including guest appearances on ZIZ, Good Morning SKN, WINNFM and FREEDOM FM. In addition to her nutrition expertise, Latoya is a Registered Nurse and trained midwife. She enjoys using her culinary skills to develop recipes and teach clients how to make healthy changes in their lives, starting in the kitchen.

She graduated from the University of Technology, Jamaica with a Bachelor of Science in nutrition and dietetics in 2012 and later completed her Master of Science in Public Health nutrition. Her mission is to re-shape the nutritional habits and behaviors of our next generation to optimize their long-term health and reduce the likelihood of obesity, cancer, and chronic diseases.

When she is not traveling the country talking about nutrition, you can find Latoya at work as Helen’s Daughters Program Coordinator (St. Kitts and Nevis). In this role, Latoya is responsible for managing and overseeing the successful execution of our agricultural training program, including field trips, graduation events, and market-related activities.
